Every year filmmakers from Curacao participate in the Short Movies Big Stories film competition. This year Distansia was the winner of the Audience Award! The film was directed and written by Elizabeth Fransisco and Miguel Gonzalez Perret Gentil. I had the pleasure of meeting Liz on the set of The Coast: Ruina. I’m so proud of you Liz! You are amazing. I look forward to seeing more work from you, keep up the good work girl.
