At the moment we’re working on a great educative project with the Curaçao Filmboard Foundation: The first board of children for Curaçao! This is an initiative of the Missing Chapter Foundation. The Royal Highness, Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, is the founder and director of the Missing Chapter Foundation. She visited Curaçao for the kick off of this project! She met the 6th graders of the St. Paulus College, who will be the official board members of the “Raad van Kinderen”. TUI donated this initiative as a present and to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of doing business in Curaçao The SIFMA Foundation has also been a part of this project and will be representing the Missing Chapter Foundation in the Dutch Caribbean.

Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands visits the students of group 8 of St. Paulus College for the kick off of the project: Board of Children Curaçao 2015.

The kids will investigate tourism on Curaçao and will advise a committee of professionals based on the results they’ve gathered from their investigation. This committee exists of very important people in the tourism branche on Curaçao. Like for example directors/CEO’s of TUI, Arkefly, CTB, Chata, Avila Hotel, Curaçao Airport Partners and more. They will then implement the advice of the board of children in their companies. Caribbean Filmcom will be a part of this project by producing 5 documentaries, which will be directed, filmed and edited by the children themselves! Caribbean Filmcom, 5 professional filmmakers from Curaçao and the Media School Curaçao will all guide the children to make this possible! This is a great way for these children to not only learn about tourism and investigation, but also about media!
