After one year we had to say goodbye to our dear colleagues Vân Doan and Camille van Zadelhoff.

From sunny days to rainy days.. Vân is now back in the Netherlands. She did a lot of work at Caribbean Filmcom. For example, she was the producer of the mini drama series of Caprilles,
assistant producer of ‘Bon Bini Holland’ in cooperation with Eye Works, production manager of the Kids Councel of Curaçao and assistant producer of the children series ‘Sammy Paramaribo’ in Surinam.

This is what she had to say:

‘’ I had a wonderfull time at Caribbean Filmcom!
Thanks to Michel Drenthe I had the opportunity ‘to learn every aspect of being a film producer’, which I am very thankful of. Besides my great colleagues I met many people in the film industry in Curaçao and beyond. What an honor! Not only do I say goodbye to Caribbean Filmcom, but also the beautiful island where I enjoyed almost 2 years. I wish Filmcom all the very best and a great future.
For me this is not only an end to a great time in Curaçao, but also a new fresh start, even for Caribbean Filmcom, which can only be positive.
Thanks everyone! ‘’

Vân, thank you for all your kindness, effort and hard work! We wish you all the best!

Camille knew she wanted to work in the film industry but didn’t knew exactly which direction. After several projects she discovered that the art direction was her passion. She popped herself out into an Art director. Now after one year, Camille will study at the Savannah College of Art and Design to pursue a future career as a production designer for film.
We wish her also the best of luck, we believe in you and your great calm spirit!
